The 2012 Australian Open will take place in Melbourne Park from January 16 to 29.
This will be the 100th edition of the tournament and the richest Grand Slam event to date with the Men’s and Women’s Singles champions getting $2.2 million each.
The 2012 Champions will get a special medallion to mark the 100th year of the tournament.
