The $4.5 million WTA Mutua Madrid Open 2011 begins on April 30 to May 8, 2011 and will take place at the famous La Caja Magica (the Magic Box) Tennis center.
At the 2010 Mutua Madrid Open, France’s Aravane Rezai clinched the biggest title of her career and defeated tournament favorites such as Justine Henin and Jelena Jankovic. She went on to beat Venus Williams in a tough final, denying the 7-time Grand Slam winner her 10th career claycourt title.
